Opie

We are all unique and contribute differently in our walk through life. Each painting begins with a foundation of dried palette paints attached to the paper. The patterns and textures suggest the features of each face. Paint is then added to bring out character.
Opie was named after a character played by Ron Howard on the Andy Griffith Show many years ago. His colorful hair was created with additional dried palette paint to add more texture.
