Jennifer Steck ArtsWelcome to Business or Pleasure, a class designed to help artists take their art journey to the next level. I am so excited you are here!

There are many different paths on this road and each of us will be identifying areas of focus. While I have a class outline, I want to remain flexible to your ideas and needs so things could change as the course develops.

We will be meeting every two weeks on a live Zoom call that will be recorded and available to class attendees. If we experience technical challenges either during the meeting that make continuing impossible or if the recording is not available, I will add another session just to ensure there are a minimum of four recorded sessions for students to reference as they make plans for their creative future.

  • Four ninety minute live Zoom Class session with group discussions.

  • Dedicated FB group where we can support each other. I will be active in the group on a daily basis from the beginning until two weeks after the final live Zoom call. After that time, I will be available as my schedule permits. What I’ve found is that we can learn best from each other. Please make sure to tag me if you have a specific question you would like for me to address.

  • One hour private online coaching consultation with each student between March 10th-April 30th, 2021

  • If there is enough interest, the class will be followed by a Business or Pleasure Mastermind Group where we can take what we learned from the class and implement our plans.

Get Started now:

When I sign up for a class, I’m always eager to get started. This class does require homework and there are some pre-class assignments. Oh! Oh! (I’ll try not to make them too time consuming, because you still need time to create.)

  1. Purchase your journal. I’ve added a video below to give you an overview of how I use my journals and how much of a resource they have become.
  2. Create a list of 2020 accomplishments on a page or two in your journal. We seldom give ourselves credit for what we’ve actually accomplished. 2020 has been a difficult year across the world. At the same time, there have been some wonderful developments, from recognition of what’s truly important to the amazing people that keep showing up even when it puts them at risk. We all accomplished things in 2020. Let’s celebrate those accomplishments. Don’t limit your list to art related things. You were amazing this year, despite all the challenges!!
  3. Our 2021 Business or Pleasure Facebook Group is open. Click here to make your request to join!
  4. I’ll be sending out a pre-course questionnaire that will help me update class content as we go to make sure the class meets your expectations.  Be looking for it over the next few weeks.
  5. (Optional) I have learned so much from my fellow artists who so graciously share their knowledge and encouragement. Click here to check out the Inspired to Create chats on my site. You are sure to be inspired.
